5 minutes of caring
Save Some Paper
|
Just say no. To receipts, that is. Just say no. To receipts, that is. With the ease of online banking, an added benefit of paying bills online is saying no to gas station receipts and other vendors who give you a choice whether or not you would like documented evidence of your purchases. If you're not enrolled in your banker's online services, do so now (it will take less than 5 minutes). And unless you need a copy of your transaction (if it was a first date and you may want to frame it one day), tell the merchant to pass on slipping you a copy.

Thanks Beth! It's a small step, but if enough folks do it, we can all enjoy more greenery! D commented, on February 10, 2008 at 11 p.m.: I always check my statements online...a good point to skip the receipt at the atm! Post a commentYou must be a registered user to post comments. |
