Stop Human Trafficking

An estimated 27 million people around the world are enslaved right now--more than at any time in human history. It may seem like a big problem to fix, but it’s still possible. Given the plight of those who end up in bondage, five minutes of your day could mean a lot. In less than 300 seconds, take action by raising your own awareness so you know what’s happening. Then, tell a friend. After that, send a few dollars to a great organization working to eradicate slavery (it’s not as much as you might think). Then, write government officials and remind them to enforce their own antislavery laws. Bonus points to the person who does all of the above.

I have been fortunate enough to have traveled all over the globe. In my travels especially in Asia, I have seen first hand the plight of the young women and as an American I was so upset. I have never actually seen it any other place and I have been to many. But this action in Thailand was horrendous and I could do nothing. I went to see for myself. I just cried. I actually hired a girl just to speak to her and I gave her a necklace, some money and told her to get out of there. I paid the fee for the supposed massage and told her as best I could you don't have to do this. She really did not understand me, but took what I gave her and saw her hide it and I said good..I left that place in a remote area in Thailand and just cried. It is not just there, she was a slave for sex and most likely had to do it as she must have had to make money for her family.
I saw it in Vietnam, Korea, Hong Kong, Russia, the old Eastern Block countries so many places and there is nothing to do as the Government sanctions it. I know they are trafficing girls all around the world and I hate the bastards. I would love to help in stopping this plague and do what I can to assist in anyway I can. You will have more than 5 minutes of my time, maybe one day 5 another a half hour as my weeks are crazy but I will do whatever you ask of me..
A friend told me about this site and I will send it to all on my email list. Can't say they will do something but I will bust their chops..as we are all so lucky.
