Make work fun by having a social impact.

With a quick trip to your human resources office, you can get the ball rolling on donating some of your pay to a great cause. Organizations like United Way make it possible for you to allocate some of your pay to community organizations. If your workplace doesn't have this option, tell your boss that it's badly needed. Or, take the initiative with some coworkers to leverage the true meaning of teamwork. Have a food drive, put together a 5k team, or raise awareness about a social need. Collaborate with the people you see every day to change the world.
