5 minutes of caring
Nothing But Nets
|
How do you save a continent? One bed at a time. Great teamwork can save lives. Sportswriter Rick Reilly and the United Nations Foundation have collaborated to motivate people to do their part to help prevent deaths from malaria in Africa. Over 1 million kids die every year from the deadly disease, and it only takes $10 to buy and distribute a protective mosquito net to those in need. And, by combining with others, you can provide nets for an entire village. By pooling our resources and energy towards a single unified cause, we can eliminate a deadly disease. Email this idea to five other people and save a family.
