Lend a hand. Literally.

As the temperature drops, the need for layers increases. We can retreat to our coat closets in order to don the latest in winter wear, but there are many who don't have that option. One item that comes in 'handy' for many is a pair of gloves, which can be picked up and most retail outlets for a few bucks. So, the next time you're waiting in line, grab a pair and take them to your local homeless agency. Or better yet, make a friend and give some warmth this winter by personally handing them to someone in need.
