5 minutes of caring
Skip the Drive-Thru
|
Going inside could save you about $10 a year. No matter how long the line is, you may think it's a lot easier to use the drive-thru. At our favorite fast food joint, we order our meal and then let our engine idle while we organize our glove box or clean up trash that gets stuck in between the seats. However, all those cars idling make the carbon dioxide add up pretty quickly. So do yourself and the earth a favor and park the car and walk inside. Those few steps to and from your vehicle may make you feel a little better about what you're ordering inside.

I have prefered to go in and get our "take-out" food my entire life. It feels good to think that I've been doing more than just making it easier for myself to understand a single word being said to me. I can now argue the accusations of being anal-retentive against I am in the car with.
