5 minutes of caring

When Being Served

Server jobs are usually thankless - change that.

If you go out to eat today, be sure to be nice to one of the 2.2 million people who call themselves a waiter or waitress. Make an extra effort to treat your server with enormous gratitude and heartfelt respect. Learn their name, smile, say 'please' and 'thank you,' tip well, and fill out a glowing comment card. Take a few extra minutes to go out of your way and show those serving you how much you appreciate it. This also works with others who help you during the day, like drivers, bellmen, barbers, mechanics, delivery folks, and cashiers.

Yes!! And don't be pigs and leave everything in a big mess like your mother is going to clean up things, if they are having a bad day DO NOT MAKE IT WORST by getting upset with them or getting angry with them. Remember we are all humans who want to be treat fair and nice not mean and acting like a donkey. "Do onto others as you would have done onto you!!" is still is good rule

It usually results in better service to be nice to them. And if they're having a bad day, you can help take the edge off!
