Coins from strangers make people happy.

We've already suggested some good things to do with your change, but here's another: Take all those shiny coins and put them in parking meters that are about to expire (or may already have). By placing your quarter or dime in the slot, you might just make someone's day whose meeting ran over. Or, maybe someone will get a few free minutes as an unexpected gift. As much as we like the jingle jangle of those coins in our pockets, this random act of kindness could really be the thing that turns someone's good day into a great one.
