Unless there's a few inches of the white stuff to go with the cold temperatures, some of us would much rather be cozily comfortable inside our homes this time of year. However, there are many people who aren't able to afford the electricity or gas required to make their house or apartment a warm refuge. But you can help. Check with your local utility company and see how you can assist someone who needs a little help paying their bill. By adding as little as $5 to your bill this winter, you can help someone keep warm until springtime. |
