5 MINUTES OF CARING

Talk to the President

The president works for us, right?

In honor of [President's Day][], we encourage you to take a few minutes and contact the White House. We've encouraged you to contact your senators and representatives already, but we say go all the way to the top to demand change.
Find a cause and email or call the Oval Office to let them know what concerns you. While it may seem that a random call to such an important place may be insignificant – think again. These contacts from ordinary citizens can serve as the very catalyst by which change happens. Just click here to send an email now.

It is wrong for the current President to lay a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier when he himself has never served in the United States Armed Forces...Beware of your wrong doing Mr. President...Beware...

whats the point in school? we are being manipulated. we are losing our health because of or government.
the president him self is being manipulated.

people can save mankind, but they chose to save them selves; make money, and kill others who stand in there way.

"many presidents and other famous people have failed"

dame right they have.

especially the president.

we the people, live our lives in sod em, we over look the truth; forget the past, and look towards a better day.

but there is no better day then today,
each day is remember-able,
unique, special in such a way.

to forget about ore past is to forget our selves,

people that have no names,
fear the unknown,
refuse to give hope,
they are worthless.

you are not.

i pray that our president, will tell the truth.

save us,
and be strong

all tho your life will be in danger,
if you do

is it not what we need?
the truth?

fear all you want, but in the end.
the people will respect and appreciates you much more.
save you and protect you, and your family.

we love as much as you love,
we don't need a strong president,
we don't need one who lies,

if you were to die.
die with honor,
die with respect to man kind.

not to them.

for those who see these messages of hope,
pray for a better day,

we will be left alone in the end,
to fend off for our selves,

we must help each other,
rather then help our selves.

Though we are celebrating President’s day, there is still debate over the name of the holiday springs from the fact that state's can follow their own holidays how they see fit and many of them chose to also honor Lincoln, calling the celebration President's Day. Happy President's Day (though it's already over) everyone, and here's some interesting trivia: President's Day rarely, if ever, falls on the actual birthday of a former President. It usually isn't close to either Washington's Birthday (February 22nd) or Lincoln's Birthday (February 12th). Also, President's Day is celebrated differently by state – Alabama for instance, calls it Washington and Jefferson Day, though Jefferson's birthday is in April and he was from Virginia. (He also wasn't Washington's biggest fan, and wasn't about to get payday loans or anything for a floral arrangement for Hamilton's funeral. Hamilton wasn’t Jefferson's biggest fan either.) Another tidbit – Washington created the precursor to the Purple Heart, and was the only President to issue it.
