Don't let energy and money escape through a closed door.

Take a brief minute today and look very carefully at the bottoms of your exterior doors. Chances are, valuable energy could be escaping through your doorframe. If you can feel a draft, or if you can put a sheet of paper in the door, close it, and remove the paper without it tearing, then you need to improve the seal. The quickest fix is to install a door bottom or a door sweep. Any hardware store will have what you need to correct the air leak. When you've got more time, consider replacing the seal around the entire threshold.
