Deborah Denson launched Happy Monkey in 2006 as a spirited line of products with a purpose. The Happy Monkey "Tees with Conscience" and Panties for Peace support specific causes such as Trees for Life, the Coalition to Save Darfur, and now Nest. Through blogs, links to global philanthropies, and gifts from the sale of Happy Monkey merchandise, Happy Monkey has become more than a happy face. It is a movement. Deborah believes that hunger, poverty, and social injustice contribute to violence and division. "If we work to alleviate these things, we are working for peace," says Denson.
