Hunger Awareness Day

Spend a day hungry.
Believing in something isn't a bad thing.

We believe that the coolest people out there are those who care about something. So what do you care about? What issue motivates you enough to act and to encourage others to do the same? If you're still looking for something to feel passionate about, browse our archives for some ideas. Or, spend some time today (or this weekend) looking at an issue more deeply. Regardless of where you may stand on any given topic, we feel that the important thing is to stand at all. So, educate yourself on something that needs changing, and then get to work!

I totally agree! I was thankful to have the opportunity on Tuesday of this week to participate in Justice Day on the Hill at the Capitol. It was so encouraging to see many young people there as well who were able to articulate their positions in front of seasoned politicians. We should never feel that we cannot make a difference as an individual because a community of action is made up of individuals!
