Everyone likes a good children's book. And everyone likes a good contest. Between now and the end of July, the very literate folks at First Book are asking you to share a memory about your beloved first book. By simply telling them "What Book Got You Hooked," you’ll be able to nominate a state to receive 50,000 free books to give to needy children in order to get (and keep) them reading.
