5 minutes of caring
Power Plants
|
What has the superpower to take CO2 out of the air? If you want to breathe a little easier, consider getting a potted plant for your office or home. The right kind of plant can take CO2 and carbon monoxide out of the air, and produce healthy oxygen that we all need. Plants can also liven up the workplace and add color for a nice bit of feng shui. You can even get plants that thrive in low light and don't need a heck of a lot of water. Visit your local green thumb to see what's in stock. You might even look forward to going to work (no guarantees).

I am now "mommy" to four plants (well, foster mommy to two while my boss is on sick leave) at work. The small act of caring for them, watching them grow, and making sure they are watered properly brings so much joy into my work life. And the plants got me into a ten minute conversation with my department manager, who is also a plant lover, just this morning. See? Plants are good for you!
