Get Tire-d
|
You can recycle when the rubber hits the road. Most of the time, when you get a swanky new set of radials, hopefully your mechanic will reuse or recycle your old ones (if they don't, then you might want to patronize a place that does the next time you need replacements). But, you can take it upon yourself to recycle your old rubber wheels. For just a buck, many Bridgestone/Firestone locations will take your old tires and make sure the rubber is reused. Since it's so cheap, you can go beyond the call of duty and pick up old tires you see carelessly tossed in the garbage heap.
