5 minutes of caring
How Much Do You Make?
Carry it and find out. According to our new book, the average person generates about 1,500 pounds of trash each year. That's a lot. But since we just toss it and forget about it, we never realize how much waste we're producing. So, in an effort to really see how terrible trash is, we challenge you to tote your trash this weekend. Take everything you throw away and keep it close by. Then imagine if you did that for a year – hauling around over half a ton of garbage. We're sure that by Monday we'll all recognize the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling.
