5 MINUTES OF CARING
MONDAY, NOV. 5, 2007 Grocery MathAdd it up and save.
The next time you're shopping for food, use that wonderful thing called math that you learned back in the day. Spend a few seconds calculating some long-term costs and you'll save some money and some planet. In less than a minute, you should easily see that a filter for your faucet is much cheaper than cases and cases of bottled water (and produces a lot less waste). And, buying in bulk will keep cash in your pocket and have you driving to the store a lot less. As our friend Zack the statistician tells us, "Saving money is good." |
