Get Your Mug On
Taking your own mug to the coffee shop is a good thing. You should already know that we're big fans of people who like to take their own mug when they go out for some java or tea. But sometimes, it's hard to remember to carry your stainless steel or ceramic companion when you head out the door. Lucky for you, you can now join up with The Mug Project. This endeavor of the same folks who brought you The Nametag Project helps you to connect and share stories and ideas with like-minded individuals who like coffee but like saving the planet even more. Join today and become our mug-reusing friend.

I work at an organic, local-farms-endorsing bakery in Rhode Island and we always give a discount to people who bring in their own mugs. A lot of regulars participate and it's a nice way to get to know them a little better. There are some truly unique mugs! My only suggestion if you do this: remove your own top before handing it over.
