Bring It To Go

Bring It To Go

Toting your own Tupperware makes a positive impact.

As you head out to eat this week in celebration of that new diet you're on, keep a set of Tupperware handy in your car. By bringing in your own to-go containers, you'll reduce waste since you won't be using the restaurant's harmful styrofoam doggie bags. Several of our readers have mentioned that they have no problems asking for it to go in their very own bins and lids, so you shouldn't have an issue when you contribute to the meal in your own special way. Start the New Year off right by aiming to reduce your global footprint.

Having a container in my car is an easy one. It encouraged me to clear out all the junk so the bowl and lid would be easy to locate.

I have finally succeeded in remembering to do this when we eat out - not only does it reduce the carbon footprint, but I find that if I put away 1/2 of the meal before starting it, it's easier to eat less!
