Ride Bus, Make Friends
The benefits of public transportation are many. Have you ever used public transportation? If not, try it out today. And if you use it regularly, have you taken the opportunity to make a new friend? We realize not everyone may be overly cheery en route to work, but there's no better time to get to know a neighbor than when riding side by side for a few miles. Or, if public transportation isn't quite as feasible for you, see if you can befriend someone else you see regularly. Saving the world is a lot easier (and a lot more fun) when we do it with friends.

It is my daily committment to loving the planet. And my mantra is: If you hate the war, don't drive a car! Carfree Kim from Boston Post a commentYou must be a registered user to post comments. |

We are used to walking to work but just moved 15 miles away from our jobs. Part of our agreement was to take the bus as much as possible - it takes an hour to get to work, but it's faster than sitting in traffic, and it feels good to be good to the environment.
