5 minutes of caring
Tweak Your Toilet
Some quick tweaks will have you saving buckets. World Water Day is this coming Saturday, so we're here to make sure you're doing your part to consume less of the world's water supply. Take some time today to change a few things at home in order to use less H2O. For starters, try that whole brick- or bottle-in-the-toilet trick. And if you're not showering a minute less, today's a great day to start. And, as soon as you get home today, give your house a quick check for leaks. Do all of the above and by our calculations, you'll be saving more than 5,000 gallons a year.

Cutting out that 1 minute of showering is so easy - and yet, in the morning, before the house warms up, it's also sooooo hard. But I shall make the little sacrifce.
