5 minutes of caring
Every Minute Matters
Five minutes makes a big difference when it comes to mental health. Every minute, someone attempts to take their own life. Mental illness, then, is not just something that affects the 57 million Americans living with one, but all of us. And now, you can do something about this. Thanks to the Web site EveryMinute.org, you can learn more about mental illness, how to treat it, and what to do when you or someone you know is impacted by it. The more we know, the better prepared we are to change that overwhelming statistic. Do your part to declare your concern and voice your opinion in order to stop the clock.

Clark Flatt has been family friend for years and my mother-in-law baby sitted Jason when he was just a little fellow. She has the cutest story about him and a vaccuum cleaner. We were devistated when the tragedy happened and pray that Jason found peace. We too have a Jason and have just found out that he has been misdiagnosed while he was growing up with ADD, when now that he is 26 they have decided he is Bipolar. I had asked every Doctor and Tester about Bipolar because I suspect my parent suffered from it but they would treat him as ADD instead. I can only monitor his health care now and see that he receives the right care. What a waste of years. Post a commentYou must be a registered user to post comments. |
