Sam got 2 of his 15 minutes of fame this afternoon, speaking on behalf of bloggers everywhere (or at least bloggers in Tennessee) when he was interviewed by a video journalist from WKRN in Nashville.

They tied the story into President Bush's visit today to Nashville for a fundraiser for senate hopeful Bob Corker. To balance out their interview with a "Conservatives for Corker" representative, they tapped Sam for the other side of the pillow, er, I mean, story.

As a frequent and insightful blogger of all things political, religious, cultural and otherwise, Sam has made a name for himself in a few of Nashville's blogger communities as well as being a frequent featured writer for Newsvine.

We're tickled pink that he's now getting some love from the camera as well.

And if you're wondering, the answer is "no." In real life Sam is not 10 pounds lighter.
