Buttons and Things

We all know that it’s important to recycle. But, we often simply toss out those items that have not been approved to be made into new bottles and cans. The next time you think about throwing away things like buttons, string or candles, think again. Many organizations near you want to turn those household items into wonderful works of art. Here’s a list of groups that currently accept such items. And, if your hometown isn’t on the list, think about starting one near you. Or, simply collect the items and volunteer to lead an art project at a local school.
