Celebrate a Dream

Were he alive today, Dr. King would be 80 years old. How will you celebrate his life, legacy and dreams? If you have Monday off, no doubt you’ll be content to lounge around, catch up on old episodes of CSI on your DVR, or even read a book. Instead, choose to get out of your house and celebrate the dream. Chances are, your city will have a parade, and there will be many other events to choose from. Attend a service at an African-American church. Live out Dr. King’s legacy and plan now to be somewhere meaningful on Monday.
