Don't Laugh

Cool People Care » » Don't Laugh

We all like a good laugh, especially after a long day or a tragic course of events. But be careful: some jokes are offensive, even without racial slurs or bad words. Some jokes perpetuate stereotypes, embedded into us since birth. Others use words that seem commonplace, but actually convey hatred and discrimination.
Take extra precaution to make sure the jokes you tell and the ones that make you double over guffawing aren’t mean or hateful. And, if you catch others retelling humorous limericks that are really offensive, encourage them to stop so they can contribute to spreading love instead.
