To avoid the wasted money and energy that your household appliances can often produce, check in on your leftovers or T-shirts before the alarm sounds. Just take a peek inside the microwave thirty seconds early, or open the dryer door and see if those clothes are dry to the touch. Eliminating minutes and seconds here and there will mean that you’re helping the environment. And all you had to do was open the door. Besides, your leftover coffee doesn’t need to be that hot, for goodness sakes!
