All kinds of events will be happening tomorrow night as the world goes dark at 8:30. Who will you be with when you flip the lights? Check and see if any events are happening in your neighborhood or community. Invite a friend or two over for dinner beforehand and start flipping switches together. In fact, this isn’t a bad idea – when they come over for dinner, that means their lights will be off, since they won’t be at home. Perhaps eating with friends is a good way to conserve energy on any night. Earth Hour is just the beginning.
