There is only one Nashville agency that gives child victims of abuse a voice in court: CASA.
On April 12, 2008, CASA will host its 9th Annual Red Shoe Party at LP Field. This is our largest fundraising event of the year. The theme of the party provides a symbol of hope for child victims because, like Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz," CASA believes "there's no place like home…"
Wear your favorite fabulous red shoes and join CASA for a night of drinks, dancing and awareness! This annual party celebrates the important work of Court Appointed Special Advocates. Enjoy a live band, terrific silent auction, outstanding food and much more. CASA hosts this special fundraising event during Child Abuse Prevention Month. It is designed to raise awareness about CASA's important mission to help Nashville's abused and neglected children find safe, permanent homes. Dollars raised are used to recruit, train and supervise community volunteers working with child victims of abuse in juvenile court.
