TAP's Compass V Conference 9:00 a.m.  –  4:00 p.m.

Compass V Conference is an annual two-day statewide event sponsored by Tennessee Alliance for Progress consisting of a strategy session for key leaders, skill and issue workshops, networking, films, music, keynote speakers and TAP's Celebration featuring food, music, speakers, a silent auction and the Long Haul Awards, given to outstanding activists.

TAP's Celebration: Friday, May 16, 2008, 7 pm, St. Ann's Episcopal Church, 5th Street and Woodland Avenue, 37206.

Volunteer Opportunity = Free Admission. Want free admission to the Conference? If you volunteer 6 hours, you will get free admission to the Conference, including the strategy session on Friday, the Long Haul Awards Celebration with Jim Hightower on Friday evening and all the activities on People's Day on Saturday.
