Volunteer: TAP Silent Auction all day

TAP will hold its annual Silent Auction at the TAP Celebration & Long Haul Awards on Friday May 16th and we need your help acquiring auction items.

We need the following items donated for the Silent Auction:

Business goods or services like automotive, tax, legal or accounting services, house cleaning, interior design, etc.

Personal services like massage or other body work, chiropractic, manicure/pedicure or hair cuts or coloring, facials, real estate, tree and garden services, etc.

Jewelry, art work, CDs, vocal coaching, guitar lessons, paintings, etc.

Household items like books (especially books about progressive politics), lamps, small furniture, tablecloths, etc.

Getaways at a vacation property, bed and breakfast, etc.

Frequent flyer airline tickets, etc.

Clothing like shawls, jackets, scarfs, political T-shirts, baseball caps, signed celebrity tour jackets, etc.

Musical instruments and accessories, etc.

If you have an auction item, please contact TAP Silent Auction Chair David Lyle at drl22@columbia.edu or call him at 615-828-2369.

And remember, your auction items are fully tax-deductible and Silent Auction proceeds are going to support the ground-breaking work that Tennessee Alliance for Progress is doing!

Please mark your calendar and plan to attend TAP's Celebration, Long Haul Awards & Silent Auction on Friday May 16th. We have invited Jim Hightower, America's #1 Populist to be our Keynote Speaker. It will be a great evening! For more information, go to www.tennesseeallianceforprogress.org.

TAP connects the issues: many of our social problems are systemic, not isolated. TAP is building a network to mobilize a majority that will address broad public concerns, instead of narrow corporate interests. People should participate in decisions that affect their lives. TAP's mission is to create healthy families and communities in Tennessee.
