About the Biletnikoff Foundation - The mission of our foundation is to commemorate Tracey Biletnikoff who was brutally murdered in 1999 at a very young age. Tracey, after recovering from drug and alcohol abuse through programs like those supported by the Biletnikoff Foundation, dedicated her life to helping “at risk” youth avoid or recover from similar experiences. The foundation supports Tracey’s Place of Hope in the San Francisco Bay Area, a house for adolescent girls ages 14 -17 ½ that opened in January of 2000. The program is targeted to girls who are low-income, homeless or at risk of homelessness, with a history of substance-abuse related problems as well as other mental health issues.
