MetroWest Water Garden’s Parade of Ponds 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
|
The third annual MetroWest Water Garden’s Parade of Ponds is making a splash in the Greater MetroWest. The Parade of Ponds 2008 is a self-guided tour of ponds and water features located in the Greater MetroWest area of Massachusetts ranging from Wellesley to Framingham to Mendon to Franklin and more!
Pond tour guides can be purchased directly from MetroWest Water Gardens, the Mendon Greenhouse or the Dog Orphans for $15 ea. The tour guide contains a brief description and directions to each stop on the tour. The two day event will kick off on Saturday, June 7, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and will continue Sunday, June 8, from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. All of the proceeds will benefit the Dog Orphans, Inc., a non-profit, no-kill shelter dedicated to saving dogs from pain and suffering. You pick the stops you want to make, when you want to make them and go at your own pace. It's easy, fun and you'll get to see a nice variety of beautiful water features along the way. You will want to make sure that you bring your camera with you. So come support a great cause and have lots of fun doing it! Remember that 100% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Dog Orphans! For more information about the pond tour and a complete list of towns the tour will include, please visit our website at: www.MetroWestWaterGardens.com or contact Tom Frost at 508-916-1535.
