A 5K Race and Family Fun Day that raises awareness of and funding for children who lack education, food, clothing, health care and shelter.
Run/Walk/Play: Activities include: a 5K run/walk, a kids fun run, refreshments, cultural performances and inflatable games. Raise Money: Don't want to run or walk? Going to be out of town? Then be a Hero! Heroes commit to raising money for the kids in Kibera. Just $25 puts a kid in school for a year. Host a bake sale, a garage sale, or just ask your friends and neighbors. You can sign up to be a hero and -- there are great prizes involved! Volunteer opportunities available!
