Sexual Assault Crisis Line Training
Learn how to answer crisis calls from sexual assault victims. This is a great way to give back to the community! All you have to do is have access to your cell phone during your designated shift and be available to talk with callers dealing with issues of rape and sexual assault. Also included is the training for hospital accompaniment. You’ll learn about meeting rape survivors at the hospital and aiding them in making a positive recovery by providing a care package, educational materials, referral services, and most importantly, an ally. Both breakfast and lunch will be provided.
