African American Heritage Festival all day

In association with the City of Baltimore, community leaders and citizen volunteers, organizers of the African American Heritage Festival are proud to present the 7th Annual African American Heritage Festival June 27-29, 2008 at M & T Bank Lots B and C.
This annual event features interactive and educational exhibits, exciting children's corner, ethnic foods, variety of art, local and national talent. National headline artists have included Patti Labelle, Erykah Badu, Chaka Khan, Doug E. Fresh, LL Cool J, Nancy Wilson and Frankie Beverly featuring Maze. The Heritage Festival is a family celebration of African American history, culture, art, music and education. In addition to offering a variety of foods, art displays, carnival rides and extensive health screenings the festival is proud to feature a comprehensive eclectic range of music on two stages including: reggae, soul, jazz, rhythm and blues, and gospel enticing for all ages.
