VOLUNTEER: LP Pencil Box all day

VOLUNTEER: LP PENCIL Box, Nashville's free school supplies store for Metro Nashville Public Schools, seeks individuals and groups to inventory supplies, stock shelves, and assist MNPS teachers with shopping.

If you need hours for an education community service requirement or are just looking for a way to support Metro Schools, you can make a difference by volunteering with an expanding program that puts school supplies in the hands of children that truly need them.

    PENCIL Foundation responds to the needs of Metro Schools by linking community resources of volunteers and materials with Nashville Public Schools. PENCIL matches over 500 businesses and organizations with Metro schools as PENCIL Partners, distributes school supplies for teachers through LP PENCIL Box, and trains volunteers to work with at-risk students.
