Share Our Strength invites Georgians to join the fight against hunger at Give Me Five, an evening of gourmet food and wine on Sunday, July 20 at The Lodge at Waterfall Country Club on Lake Burton.
Beginning with a cocktail reception at 5 p.m., guests will enjoy a five-course dinner featuring Georgia grown products prepared by Georgia’s best chefs with wine pairings, along with a live and silent auction and live performances by vocalist Melanie Massell. The five participating chefs are: Scott Crawford - Georgian Room at The Cloister at Sea Island Shaun Doty - Shaun’s Doug Turbush - Bluepointe Robert Gerstenecker - Park 75 at the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta Christopher Jennings - Park 75 at the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta The five participating sommeliers are: Thomas Roberts - Georgian Room at The Cloister at Sea Island Steven Clark - Ritz-Carlton Lodge at Reynolds Plantation Jane Garvey - freelance writer, editor and lecturer Perrine Prieur - Jöel Jodie Bouck - Cherokee Town & Country Club Tickets: $375 per person and can be purchased online at www.givemefivedinner.org.
