Volunteer: LP PENCIL Box - Back to School Teacher Shopping

PENCIL Foundation's LP PENCIL Box, a free teacher supply store, is opening early this year to help Metro Nashville Public School teachers get ready for the new school year. We desperately need volunteers to come help during teacher shopping Monday- Wednesday from 2-6.
Different activities you would experience as a volunteer would include:
Assisting teachers while they shop for free supplies
Checking teachers in and out and answering questions
Assisting with unloading product donations
Inventorying donations
Sorting, bundling or preparing the products for display on the shelves
Assisting with stocking or reorganizing shelves
Having a great time while getting supplies to children that really need them!

PENCIL Foundation responds to the needs of Metro Schools by linking community resources of volunteers and materials with Nashville Public Schools. PENCIL matches over 500 businesses and organizations with Metro schools as PENCIL Partners, distributes school supplies for teachers through LP PENCIL Box, and trains volunteers to work with at-risk students.
