Charlottesville Chamber Music Festival all day

The Charlottesville Chamber Music Festival will give concerts on the 7th, 11th, 14th, 18th, and 21st of September, 2008, at Old Cabell Hall.

This year's concerts cover as wide a range as any series we have presented yet. We travel through improvisations (using invented instruments), over classics of Vienna (backwards), across the pond, into abstraction, and finally into some of the more searching chamber music of Mozart, valedictorially. There should be some sights to see.

And as ever, we will have musicians coming from all over the world to present the works as clearly and warmly as possible.
