Discover the fascinating world of science with special guests who'll bring their expertise to visitors on Science Sundays at the Museum.
Make an edible model of a DNA double helix! Alpha Phi Sigma Premedical Honor Society will be showing children the structure of a DNA molecule! The children will get to make their own DNA molecule using Twizzlers, gumdrops, and toothpicks. They will be able to see how the Twizzlers represent the outer part of DNA as well as see how the gumdrops represent the inner components that alternate and bind to each other in order to hold the two sides of the molecule together! After they make their molecule they will have a tasty treat! $3.50-$5.50, kids under 12 mos. free
