When you give of yourself, you have the ability to make a dramatic impact on the life of another. Whether it's tutoring a young child, performing home chores for an elderly person or providing case management to a family at risk of homelessness, you can literally change people's lives for the better by volunteering.
The United Way Volunteer Center will match you with volunteer opportunities that fit your interests, skills, availability and location. They are happy to help you over the phone, in person in an interview, or you can look at opportunities by going to a collaborative website, volunteeryourtime.org. With connections to hundreds of Dane County non-profit agencies, the United Way Volunteer Center is a gateway for volunteer opportunities in Dane County.
