- The USS Hornet Museum in Alameda hosts its annual Independence Day party on July 4 from Noon to 9:30pm. The family event features live music on the flight deck, interactive games for all ages, and a bounce house for kids. Tours of the famous aircraft carrier will be available throughout the day. In the evening, visitors can watch panoramic views of Bay Area fireworks from the flight deck.
