Lakefest: Art, Wine & Food Festival on Lakeshore Avenue
Arts & Crafts booths, Wine Tasting Tents (two tents with 15 wineries in each) sponsored by Vine Wine Bar, live music stage featuring well-known performers, Art Cars, Grand Lake Farmer’s Market (on Saturday ONLY), Taste of Lakeshore food tasting, kids area, Green Living Expo.

MOCHA Summer Arts Camp
MOCHA camps provide age-appropriate, fun and enriching art activities for children and youth ages 6–15. No previous art experience is required. Each week we will use a variety of techniques and materials to create artistic projects that stimulate the imagination and open the door to further exploration of the arts. One day of each session we will take time away from the MOCHA campus, with art walks and visits to other museums or programs that complement the theme of the week. Each Friday afternoon, family and friends are invited to view and celebrate the week's masterpieces.

In celebrating the Year of the Boar, the Chinatown StreetFest will attract thousands of people from all over the Bay Area to come savor the taste of Asia, and to experience the traditions that Oakland's Chinatown has so diligently preserved.

Dance your way back to school with the Bernard Anderson and Old School Flavor band in the café; enjoy film, shopping, yoga, and a great chance to make new friends. Sunset Cinema is back. Bring a blanket and a picnic and watch a film from KQED's Truly CA documentary series-free in the gardens during First Fridays After Five.
