Volunteer: Inventory Prep at Hosea Feed the Hungry
We will be sorting, organizing and labeling items to prepare for our inventory in July. There may also be sales and/or give-away of various items either in the parking lot or from the loading dock. In addition, there will be general warehouse cleaning and possible warehouse rack construction.

Covenant House Awards Luncheon-Opening Doors to Homeless Youth in Georgia
On June 25, 2008 Covenant House Georgia will host its first Awards Luncheon, honoring distinguished individuals and organizations who are dedicated to the quality of life of the homeless youth in Atlanta at The Loudermilk Center in Downtown Atlanta from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. These honorees provide hope, promise and opportunities for today’s youth. They represent unconditional love, respect, service, advocacy, and family in the community. They are the Voice for the Homeless. This year we are presenting Mayor Shirley Franklin with “The Voice of Homelessness” award, Dr. Donald Rooker with “The Philanthropist of the Year” award and Ms. Ursula Lentine with “The Volunteer of the Year” award.
