- The Southern National BBQ Championship And Bluegrass Festival
- Just the mention of “barbeque and bluegrass” makes the mouth water and the toes start tapping. Professional barbecue teams will travel to Boone Hall Plantation to compete in a cook-off sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society and the chance to win cash and prizes. Locals and amateurs are invited to show off their talents in a barbecue cook-off, as well as a tailgating competition for the best sports team support.
