- Engage Green is a new initiative of Lightning 100’s Team Green to educate our listeners, Team Green members, and the general Nashville community about simple ways to make their lives greener. Engage Green will host a knowledgeable speaker(s) the first Tuesday of every month who will cover information and how-to topics that can be easily transferred into our daily lives in an informal, casual setting. Each presentation will be interactive and allow discussion throughout. Some topics may include recycling, composting, rain gardens, rain water run-off, local food options, energy saving options, green organization forums, green business economic analysis, and sustainable practices.
