- FBC will host a fair trade market, Good News Goods. Shopping will be from 12 to 3 in the Great Hall. A light lunch is available. This will be an opportunity to take care of much needed holiday shopping while at the same time helping to change the lives of the poor across the world. Everything you purchase will help a needy person in a developing country. FBC is partnering with a fair trade company, Trade as One, to host this event.

- Going places. Getting there. By bus, train, bicycle, car or foot, the upcoming feature exhibit at Austin Children’s Museum is all about people going places and how they get there. Families will get a sense of connection to their city as they explore over 20 interactive experiences that teach children about different modes of transportation, energy and safety. All Systems Go highlights the people and things that make transportation so important in our city and demonstrates transportation's impact on our environment and our future.
