Famoudou Konate djembe workshops

Famoudou Konate is one of the world's most beloved masters of the West African djembe. Still residing in his village in Guinea, Famoudou tours the United States and Canada each summer, sharing the percussion traditions of his homeland. This is a rare opportunity for percussion students of all levels to study with this highly respected and talented elder.

The CoolMomsCare Celebration Garden: Recycle Relay

Come out to The Franklin Farmer’s Market from 8 AM until 1 PM. CoolMomsCare will be in the Celebration Garden with activities, music, crafts, and fun from 10 AM until 12 PM. Bring the kiddos for Recycle Relay.

Watertown Jazz Festival 2008

The 2008 Watertown Jazz Festival marks the 13th year of this celebration of all things jazz! Hosted by the Watertown Chamber of Commerce and organized in 2008 by Planit Nashville, Inc., this event has grown from approximately 200 attendees to over 5,000 jazz fans from all over the region.
